Progressory Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Progressory
application for iOS and Android (Android package com.codingzonesolutions.progressory), published by
Coding Zone Solutions, handles information. Progressory is an offline-first workout tracker:
it does not require an account, and it does not operate a backend server that stores your
workout data. The sections below describe what stays on your device and what limited
information third-party advertising services may process.
1. Information Stored Locally On Your Device
Progressory works fully offline. When you use the app, the information you enter — for example workouts, exercises and sets, personal records, statistics, bodyweight entries, progress photos, nutrition entries, supplement logs, and any trainer reports you generate — is stored in a private database on your own device.
This data is not transmitted to Coding Zone Solutions, is not stored on any server we operate, and is not visible to us. No account or sign-in is required to use Progressory.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Progressory shows ads served by Google AdMob, including rewarded video ads, to support free use of the app. AdMob is a third-party advertising service operated by Google, not by Coding Zone Solutions.
To select, serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may collect and process information such as device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or, where you allow it, Apple's Identifier for Advertisers), general device and app information, approximate location, and how you interact with ads. Depending on your settings, this may include ads personalized to you.
3. What We Don't Do
- We do not require you to create an account to use Progressory.
- We do not operate a server that stores, syncs or backs up your workout data.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not have access to the workout, nutrition, bodyweight or photo data you store in the app, because it never reaches us.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Because your workout data is stored locally, it stays on your device until you remove it yourself — by deleting individual entries in the app, by clearing the app's storage in your device's system settings, or by uninstalling Progressory, which removes its local database entirely. Progressory also includes a manual export/import feature if you'd like to keep your own backup copy.
Because this data never reaches us, we have no ability to access, retrieve or delete it on your behalf. Information processed by Google AdMob is retained and deleted according to its own policies, linked in Section 2.
5. Security
Since your workout data lives on your device rather than on a server we control, its protection also depends on your device's own security — for example, using a screen lock and keeping your operating system up to date. We follow standard practices in how the app itself handles local data, but no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
6. Children's Privacy
Progressory is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through Progressory in a way that concerns you, please contact us using the details below.
7. Your Choices
- Your workout, nutrition, bodyweight and photo data can be deleted at any time from within the app or by uninstalling it.
- You can limit ad personalization through your device settings: on Android, typically Settings → Google → Ads; on iPhone, Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Because no account is created, there is no account to delete — uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example as Progressory's features change. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above.
